The Toyota Motor Corporation primarily focuses on the manufacturing and production of their products in the automotive market. That is why Toyota remains undisputed in terms of market profitability compared to its competitors. Toyota also opened numerous regional divisions such as Toyota's luxury car manufacturer, Lexus and Scion. And when talking about Toyota and the automotive industry, Toyota will be presenting 27 vehicles the 4th China (Guangzhou) International Auto Exhibition. The auto exhibition is currently on going at the province of Guangzhou in China, and had just started last July 24, 2006.
Toyota will be displaying a total of 27 concept vehicles along with their latest production vehicles. This number is a huge amount and actually is the largest that Toyota has ever presented for such a car exhibition. Toyota would also be joining the Guangzhou Auto Exhibition, well, since Guangzhou Toyota Motor Co. Ltd. (GMTC) had been established and started their operation last 2004. During the mentioned auto show, Toyota will present the new safety technology features of their models such as the Toyota Prius and Toyota Reiz. Safety is one of the main priorities of Toyota Motors' production vehicles.

Hybrid Toyota

When it comes to hybrid SUVs, many people were not quite sure how they would work out. Could an SUV really still keep all the room and still get great fuel economy? Well, Toyota has proven that the concept of a hybrid SUV can really work with their new Toyota Highlander hybrid. While you can expect to pay a bit more for the Toyota Highlander hybrid than you would for the regular gas engine, many people feel that the benefits are worth the extra cost in the beginning.
Superior Fuel Economy
When it comes to SUVs, one of the main problems with them has been that they are not very good on fuel. Since they are heavier, bigger, and the aerodynamics of these vehicles are not as efficient as on cars, they use far more fuel than a car does. While there have been hybrid cars making headlines for a few years now when it comes to fuel economy, now the Toyota Highlander hybrid is planning to do the same thing. Believe it or not, you can get fuel mileage on this new hybrid SUV that is just as good as any cars out there today. So, the Toyota Highlander is definitely offering fuel economy that cannot be beaten by any other SUV.

Best Hybrid Cars

It would be easy to figure out which of the current automobiles today were ranked with the best energy efficiency ratings in gasoline powered car engines, model design, and those rated with the best safety features per car class. There is a wide opinion spread of rankings that can be provided by most major automobile manufacturers' reviews.
It would probably be difficult, if not impossible to find same rankings for the dual-powered hybrid automobile that is emerging like gangbusters on the automobile market today. It would also be near impossible to figure out which of these models would be considered or ranked as the best hybrid car available on the market today because with the energy saving features that save people money at the gas pumps, all of these hybrid car models are a winner.
The best hybrid car would provide versatility and style to the consumer. With mild hybrid and full hybrid car models available, there is a good selection of features that consumers can choose that will meet their individual driving needs and styles. Some of these hybrid car varieties have the capability of driving from a dead start on electrical power, while others require the gas powered motor feature to engage first to perform this part of the drive train operation.

Toyota News

Have you heard of the latest news about Toyota? Another Toyota car model has proven that Toyota is still the ranging number one car brand. Last April 30, the Toyota Car Company was proud to release the news about the Toyota Prius. This particular hybrid car model has reached enormous global sales of 504,700 units in a year. The hard works and efforts of Toyota Car Corporation finally are paying off.
The Toyota Prius was released in Japan early of 1997. And every year since 2000, the production was only 12,000 units. In 2003, they released the completely redesigned version of the Toyota Prius in the United States. More than 100,000 units where produced in 2005 for the United States market only. A gigantic 250,000 US sales was noted in May 2006.
To give its consumers the satisfaction they deserve, Toyota Car Corporation will be advancing its research to develop more quality and durable cars including Toyota Prius auto parts and accessories like lights and bumpers. They will also discover new ideas in building plug-in hybrids for the next generation vehicle which would be having an extended range capacity to use the electric drive only. They are also planning to double the production of hybrid models by early 2010.

Toyota Lease

Doing a little homework could help you to negotiate a better price on a Toyota used vehicle lease. The first step is to decide the vehicle you would like to lease then use an online calculator or Kelley's Blue Book (or equivalent for your country) to determine the value of the used vehicle.
Most vehicle depreciation takes place in the first two years. Japanese vehicles depreciate slower then American vehicles. As a result the lease cost of a Japanese should be less.
Get a copy of your credit score to determine if you qualify for a lease and to get an idea of what interest rate will be. Most lease companies offer a free no obligation quote. Get several quotes before you shop for a lease.
Some companies specialize in used car leases. You may want to consider arranging your own lease prior to shopping for a vehicle. This will allow you to lease a vehicle that is being sold by a privately.

Toyota Hybrid Sales

oyota, the second largest automaker around the globe, is proud to be the presenting sponsor of the recently held Environmental Media Awards. The latter is a prestigious event aimed at promoting awareness of environment issues. The gala event displayed a powerhouse of stars and celebrities from film, music and television.
Previous honorees of Environmental Awards include Daryl Hannah, Cameron Diaz, Edward Norton, and programs like The Simpsons, Grey's Anatomy, and Lilo & Stitch. "Entertainment is a potent vehicle for raising awareness of environmental issues," said Dian Ogilvie, senior vice president and chief environmental officer of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. "The creative teams who are honored with an Environmental Media Award are inspiring people to think and act in ways that benefit our planet."
Toyota is the world's leader in hybrid technology. It has unleashed several hybrid cars to help reduce air pollution. Toyota and its other division called Lexus, offered five hybrids in the United States. These hybrids are for the SUV, midsized sedan, and sports car segments. To sum it up, Toyota hybrid vehicles contribute in saving more than 150 gallons of gas in the United States. Moreover, it has avoided over 3 million pounds of greenhouse gas emissions.

Hybrid Suvs

There is no doubt that the market for hybrid SUVs has increased dramatically since the turn-of-the-century before which the SUV was seen by many as the main culprit of environmental pollution. However, since the introduction of the electric car we have seen this technology transferred into the SUV market with dramatic effect.
Hybrid SUVs available today
When you consider that the hybrid SUV market now contains such names as Porsche, Volkswagen, BMW, Range Rover and GMC is not difficult to see why more motorists are looking towards the more luxurious end of the hybrid market. It would be wrong to suggest that these are cheap vehicles because they are not but what they offer is the ability to move on road and off-road and also use electric power, traditional fuel power and a mix of the two.
The efficiency of hybrid SUVs
At this moment in time the efficiency of hybrid SUVs can be anything between 20 miles per gallon to around 34 miles per gallon with many of the new vehicles on the market coming in towards the top end of this range. This is not fuel efficiency of the highest order by any means but when you consider the size and weight of an SUV these are fairly impressive figures. A number of SUVs have also introduced various recharging systems, fuel management systems and other new technology which is bit by bit improving the efficiency of these often "bulky" vehicles.
